The main distinguishing feature of this set is that both the jacket and the trousers have a 100% waterproof main zipper. This means that no water can seep through and get into the jacket or trousers in this way.

The knees and back are reinforced using a Cordura reinforcement. The trousers have a waterproof pocket for a mobile phone or car keys. The Utö is also equipped with adjustable leg cuffs and adjustable waist for a better fit. The trousers have attached buckles at the front for suspenders to easily remove the trousers without taking off the jacket. Both the trousers and the jacket have two splash-proof pockets.
