When diving with a wetsuit, the heated vest should be waterproof from at least 50 metres onwards. When diving with a drysuit, the heated vest should at least be waterproof up to 10 metres, in case the drysuit should flood. When using a heated vest while surfing or other water sports, the heated vest should be waterproof up to 10 metres or more. Heated vests that are for land use, should not be immersed.
This is the run time for the battery at full capacity. When using a drysuit we recommend a lower heat setting tos o that you can maximise the run time of your battery.
If your heated vest works with a switch, it is recommended to switch the heated vest on before entering the water and starting your dive, since you will not be able to operate the switch underwater. If you have a remote control with your heated vest, then you will be able to operate the heated vest underwater.
