The Naxos mask is smaller and more compact than traditional diving masks, yet its unique design maintains a full field of vision and comfortably conforms to any face shape with the help of new internal ribs.
Naxos Mask, similar to the Quantum, provides enhanced downward visibility and prevents fogging by regulating the warm, humid air released from the nose while wearing the mask. Naxos features a system of membranes in the mold around the eyes and nose that channel the flow towards the rubber walls rather than the glass, providing optimal visibility.
The exterior of the walls contains a dual heat exchanger cooling system designed to operate like radiators. The result is a decrease in the mask's internal temperature, aligning it with the external temperature, while simultaneously capturing moisture droplets before they can reach the glasses, effectively avoiding fogging.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Inner membranes
A patented membrane surrounds the inner nose pocket and both the inner eyes pockets which act as a barrier and trap any moisture escaping from the diver’s nose involuntarily when breathing through the mouth. The result is that not only is the moisture channelled away from the lenses, thus avoiding the fogging up of them, but it also reduces the need to compensate for pressure.
Heat exchanger
The external part of the skirt features a cooling system composed of two small heat exchangers that act as radiators. Thanks to this system, the temperature inside the mask drops, coming closer to the external temperature, and the droplets of humidity are trapped before the air reaches the lenses, preventing them from fogging up.
